Classroom Management Techniques wins English-Speaking Union award

Jim Scrivener's Classroom Management Techniques has won the English-Speaking Union’s Duke of Edinburgh English Language Book Award 2012.

Classroom Management Techniques is aimed at the English Language Teaching classroom and presents techniques for anticipating and avoiding problems in the classroom, allowing more time to be devoted to useful, meaningful activities. It offers a huge range of down-to-earth, practical techniques that will help make the most of teaching space and get students working in more focused ways.

The English-Speaking Union called it "a must-have for English language teachers across the world".

The English-Speaking Union set up the English Language Awards to celebrate innovation and good practice in English language teaching and learning.
