Ordering via the web

How do I select texts to order?


On each detailed text entry or subject page that has highlight titles is an Add to Basket button. If you can't see this button, click on the title of the text, this will take you to the correct page. When you click the Add to Basket button you will be taken to Your shopping basket page and the text will be added to your basket.

Selecting the Add to Basket button does not order the text immediately - you are able to look over your selection, add and delete items for as long as you wish. You can view your order form at any time by selecting the Shopping Basket image always displayed at the top right-hand side of the screen. To remove the item from the shopping basket set the quantity to 0 and click the Update Basket button. You are also able to change the quantity of each title in your basket by clicking the up or down arrow next to the quantity box or by manually typing an amount into the quantity box. Click the Update Basket button to re-calculate the total price.

Do I need an email address to use this site?

You will need an email address in order to register as a user on this site and make purchases. Without an email address you can still browse our catalogue.

Your email address forms your user-name, and has been chosen because all email addresses are unique. You will need to enter the same email address each time you sign in.

What if I change my email address?

Your email address is your unique registration ID. If you change your address you will still need to sign in using the address you originally provided. Because we notify you by email if there is any delay with your order, you will need to provide your new email address. You can do this when you make a purchase. Simply update your email details in the form on screen 2: Your Contact Details of the purchase process.

Remember, always use your original email address when you sign in.

How do I place my order?

To place your order, first go to your shopping basket. You can do this at any time during your session by selecting the Shopping Basket image at the top of the screen. Check the shopping basket and make any adjustments, then click the Update Basket button at the bottom of the form to see the total price. To place the order click the Checkout button near the bottom right-hand side of the form. This will take you to:

  Step 1 of 5: Login

If you are an existing user enter you email address and password into the the I am a returning customer section and click Login.

First-time users will need to enter in their email address and preferred password into the section I am a new customer and click Continue to start the registration process.
     
  Step 2 of 5: Enter address
 
Enter in the address you would like the invoice to be sent to. If the delivery address is different click To have your order delivered to another address click here to specify a different address.

Click Continue.
     
  Step 3 of 5: Confirm delivery method
 
If you reside outside Australia or New Zealand, select your delivery method as Air Mail. All other customers should select Surface Mail.
     
  Step 4 of 5: Review order items and enter billing details
 
In the first section, check that your order is corret. Click the the Update Basket button to return to the Shopping Basket screen if you need to make any changes.

Your details Click Edit email & password to change you login information.
Invoice/Delivery Address Click Edit address to change address information.
Delivery method Click Edit Delivery to change how the product is delivered.
Credit card details Click Edit card details to specify billing details. The order cannot go through without this information.
Visa and Master Card are accepted.

Once all details have been completed, click Place Order at the bottom of the screen to process the order. Click Cancel to return to the Cambridge hompage, your order will be saved if you return to the Shopping Basket page. If you exit the web browser and return at a later stage the order will not be saved, however you will still be able to log in with the email address you entered earlier.
     
  Step 5 of 5: Order placed
 
If your order was successful you will be given an order reference and contact details to follow up on your purchase.

What if I forget my password?

If you've forgotten your password you can still return to your personal settings. At the Step 1 of 5: Login, click Forgotten your Password?. On the next screen enter in the email address you would log in with and click Continue. Your password will sent to that email address.
