Forty-one legislatures meet in regular session this year. All the governors' messages are reviewed here except those of Florida and Georgia, where the sessions begin in April and June respectively. The messages of Georgia and Louisiana for last year are included, also the messages of retiring governors in New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Nebraska, California, and Oregon. The names of the governors may be found in the World Almanac.
