Some studies have shown that older people experience less experiential avoidance and more gratitude when they were compared with younger people (López, 2020). These variables might be important to improve the mental health of older people, especially in crisis situations.
Objective:Investigate the relationship between experiential avoidance (EA), gratitude and distress in old people post crisis COVID-19.
Methods:A cross-sectional study was carried out. Data from 361 people older than 60 years. The mean age was 68,44 (SD= 5.31), 62.9% were woman. The sample included in the cross-sectional analysis consisted of who provided data on the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire - II (AAQ–II; Bond et al., 2011), Gratitude subscale of the Values in Action Inventory of Strengths-Short Form (Littman-Ovadia, 2015) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (Zigmond & Snaith, 1983). Pearson´s correlations were used to explore the relationships among study variables including EA, gratitude, and emotional distress. Lineal regression analyses were used to investigate the incremental explained variance in emotional distress according to the main hypotheses. Standardized regression coefficients β were used to determine the relative contribution of these variables.
Results:EA and gratitude were negatively correlated (r=-.27; p= <.000). Gratitude and emotional distress were negatively correlated (r=-.30; p= <.000). EA and emotional distress were positive correlated (r=.61; p= <.000). Regression analyses indicated that AAQ-II and gratitude were significant predictors of emotional distress among old people. AAQ-II and gratitude were added. AAQ-II and gratitude were significant predictor of emotional distress R2adj=62.7 % explain the model.
Conclusion:EA and gratitude are powerful factors to predict emotional distress in a crisis among older people. EA is an important construct in the understanding of emotional distress. This is an initial step to deep in the process of internal experiences and promoting gratitude can be very beneficial to generate programs to promote mental health in old people.

Summary
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a major global public health problem. More than 1 million STIs occur every day. The majority of STIs occur without symptoms. STIs are relevant in different aspects of pregnancy. Some of them can cause infertility, others may affect the normal course of pregnancy or the development of the fetus, while others can be transmitted to the newborn and cause chronic illness. All pregnant women should be tested for STIs in the first trimester of pregnancy. If the patient is HIV positive, some tests should be performed at the preconception visit. If the pregnant patient is at high risk for acquisition of STIs, the tests should be repeated in the third trimester. Approximately 300 million women are infected with human papillomavirus (HPV) and this number is likely similar in men. When the patient attends the first pregnancy visit, it is important to pay attention to whether she has undergone a correct cervical cancer screening. Some STIs have a cure or a vaccine, but only by efforts involving primary prevention, early detection, and efficacious treatments will we achieve efficient control of them.

The recent discovery of an exceptionally rich grave at La Almoloya in south-eastern Spain illuminates the political context of Early Bronze Age El Argar society. The quantity, variety and opulence of the grave goods emphasise the technological, economic and social dimensions of this unique culture. The assemblage includes politically and ideologically emblematic objects, among which a silver diadem stands out. Of equally exceptional character is the building under which the grave was found—possibly one of the first Bronze Age palaces identified in Western Europe. The architecture and artefacts from La Almoloya provide new insight into emblematic individuals and the exercise of power in societies of marked economic asymmetry.

Introduction
The behavior problems in residents may affect professionals’ performance at work, quality of work life, and even their health. Thus, it is important to have instruments that allow to estimate their prevalence. The objective of this study was to validate the Revised Memory and Behavior Problems Checklist-Nursing Homes (RMBPC-NH; Allen et al., 2003) in a Spanish population. Specifically, it was tested the factor structure of the RMBPC-NH proposed by Wagner et al. (1995). Moreover, the relevance of the different types of problems for the working performance, at the level of individuals and institutions, was explored.
MethodIn the present study, a total of 200 professionals participated.
ResultsA Confirmatory Factor Analysis was conducted using WLSMV estimator in Mplus 7. Results showed a good fit to the data for the four-factor model (?2(813) = 1733.73, p<.001, CFI = .90, TIL = .90, RMSEA = .08). Thus, it can be concluded that the original factor structure proposed by Wagner et al. (1995) and replicated by Allen et al. (2003) can also be applied to Spanish staff nursing homes. The reliability of the scale was adequate (α from .86 to .93). Moreover, different descriptive and correlational results showed that both the factor scores of the Spanish adaptation of the RMBPC-NH and the importance of each type of problem were associated to different variable related.
DiscussionAfter analyzing the factor structure, reliability and validity of the adaptation of the RMBPC-NH scale for Spanish staff nursing homes it has found that it has good psychometric properties, so it could be a useful tool for this population.
This work was funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (grant number PSI2016-79803-R).

The deficiency of Se, an essential micronutrient, has been implicated in adverse pregnancy outcomes. Our study was designed to determine total serum Se, selenoproteins (extracellular glutathione peroxidase (GPx-3), selenoprotein P (SeP)), selenoalbumin (SeAlb) and selenometabolites in healthy women and their newborns at delivery. This cross-sectional study included eighty-three healthy mother–baby couples. Total Se and Se species concentrations were measured in maternal and umbilical cord sera by an in-series coupling of two-dimensional size-exclusion and affinity HPLC. Additional measurements of serum SeP concentration and of serum GPx-3 enzyme activity were carried out using ELISA. Total Se concentration was significantly higher in maternal serum than in cord serum (68·9 (sd 15·2) and 56·1 (sd 14·6) µg/l, respectively; P<0·01). There were significant correlations between selenoprotein and SeAlb concentrations in mothers and newborns, although they also showed significant differences in GPx-3 (11·2 (sd 3·7) v. 10·5 (sd 3·5) µg/l; P<0·01), SeP (42·5 (sd 9·5) v. 28·1 (sd 7·7) µg/l; P<0·01) and SeAlb (11·6 (sd 3·6) v. 14·1 (sd 4·3) µg/l; P<0·01) concentrations in maternal and cord sera, respectively. Serum GPx-3 activity and concentration were positively correlated in mothers (r 0·33; P=0·038) but not in newborns. GPx-3 activity in cord serum was significantly correlated with gestational age (r 0·44; P=0·009). SeAlb concentration was significantly higher in babies, whereas SeP and GPx-3 concentrations were significantly higher in mothers. The differences cannot be explained by simple diffusion; specific transfer mechanisms are probably involved. GPx-3 concentrations in mothers, at delivery, are related to maternal Se status, whereas the GPx-3 activity in cord serum depends on gestational age.

The analyses presented in this paper provide evidence that several community metrics and indicators of the inner shelf community in the Cantabrian Sea show response to placement of anti-trawling reefs. Total biomass, species richness, and to a lesser extent, maximum length and percentage of large fish, were sensitive to exclusion of trawling. Density, diversity and average trophic level did not show this sensitivity. The main species profiting from trawl exclusion were seabreams (Sparidae), catsharks and skates (Elasmobranchii), red mullets (Mullidae), gurnards (Triglidae) and John Dory (Zeus faber). Conversely, the main fishery target species (hake, anglerfish and megrim) showed a progressive decrease in abundance during the study period, a pattern which was also shown by their total stock biomass in the totality of the shelf area. Sea urchins, cephalopods and gastropods also increased in relative abundance with trawl exclusion. Reef age was identified as a key factor in reef development. After reef deployments, two periods were identified: (1) a recovery period, in which total biomass increased, mainly as a consequence of the increase in generalist species (e.g. catsharks); and (2) a consolidation period, during which biomass increased again, mainly as a consequence of an increase in specialized stenoic species (e.g. sparids), while biomass of generalist species remained constant or declined.
