My life, My Interchange

James Marceda

Interchange is the most successful course for adult English language learners in the history of English language teaching. Now in its 4th edition and celebrating its 25th year, Interchange has taught more than 50 million students how to speak English. That’s enough students to hold hands and circle the globe. Twice.

To celebrate, we launched the My Life, My Interchange contest in September, giving students and teachers an opportunity to share their Interchange stories with the world. In 60-second videos, Interchange users past and present have shared how Interchange has changed their lives. We’ve had entries from Brazil, Ukraine, Egypt, Ecuador, Colombia, and Indonesia. The videos have been viewed over 41,000 times and shared 3,000 times on social media.

To give you a feel for the kind of inspiring entries we’ve received, below are two videos from our monthly winners:

Ediane Pinheiro, MyTime, Brazil

Kateryna Ohbaidze, English School, Ukraine

If you’d like to share your own inspiring Interchange tale you’ve still got a few weeks left. At the end of April a panel of judges at Cambridge University Press will select a Grand Prize Winner. The prize? A $500 Amazon gift certificate, a brand new 13-inch Macbook Air, and Beats by Dre headphones. It’s the least we could do to thank you for making Interchange an international success.
