Preferences - comparisons with adjectives
e.g.
a. Which do you prefer, a mouse or a trackball?
b. I prefer a mouse.
a. Which type of computer do you like better / more?
b. I like a laptop better / more.

A. Complete these conversations. Then practice with a partner.

1. a: Do you prefer a mouse or a touchpad?  
 

b: I like a mouse better. It's (user-friendly).




2. a: Which monitor do you prefer?  
 

b: I prefer that one, because the screen is (big).




3. a: I think a portable computer is (good) than a desktop.



  because it's (convenient) for travel.



 

b: That's true. But a desktop is (cheap).




4. a: I prefer my desktop computer to my laptop because it's (fast).



 

b. Yes, it's (easy) to produce graphics on.




5. a: Which computer do you prefer to work on at home?
 

b. My desktop has a (good) memory but
