Teacher's notes

A. The objective is to focus on the vocabulary needed in Exercise B. Model the pronunciation and perhaps use stress marks or phonetic symbols to help.

B. Pre-teach any of the vocabulary that you think the students won't know. It is important to get students to give their reasons for their opinions. Do the first question with the whole class as an example. During this example, practise the Useful Expressions to promote discussion.

C. The aim is to give students more practice with the same language used in Exercise B. Focus on fluency not accuracy - correct any major errors after the exercise. There isn't necessarily a correct answer, and in many cases ss may think that both are equally important.
