A recent trip

A. Think of a recent trip you've made, either on business or on holiday. How would you start to tell someone about it.

B. You are talking to a colleague who recently went on a business trip. Look at these answers. Write the questions. Use the examples in the box above to help you. Compare your questions with a partner.

Teacher's notes
The object of this activity is to practice making questions using the past simple tense. In B, focus on the pronunciation, correcting mistakes where necessary. In C, if students haven't made any business trips, get them to invent one. Try to get students to memorise the questions and make this as free an activity as possible.
