Philip Prowse (Series Editor)

Philip has a first degree in English from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Essex. He has been teaching, teacher training and writing materials for thirty years.

As a British Council Officer Philip worked in Egypt, Portugal, Greece and Poland for eleven years. On return to Britain he became Principal of Bell College, Saffron Walden, and is currently teacher training consultant to the Studio School, Cambridge.

As a freelance teacher trainer he has worked on courses and spoken at conferences in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. He is also Reviews Editor of English Language Teaching Journal and a British Council English in Britain Accreditation Scheme Inspector.
