Leading the field in ELT innovation!
Cambridge titles were once again shortlisted for the British Council Innovation Awards this year.
World Englishes: Implications for International Communication and English Language Teaching, by Andy Kirkpatrick, and Good Practice: Communication Skills in English for the Medical Practitioner, by Marie McCullagh and Rosalind Wright, were recognised for their innovative contribution to English language teaching and learning.
The British Council Innovation Awards, otherwise known as the 'ELTONs', are the Oscars of the ELT world, and are offered to:
- outstanding new language learning resources which use innovative ideas to help learners of English to achieve their goals
- innovative research which has clear practical benefits for English language teaching
