Sweden/Sverige: Tack Gleerups! More than 650 teachers discover the magic of reading

We would like to thank our hosts, Gleerups, for three extremely well-organised teachers' evenings in the first week of March.

Starting in Gothenburg, then moving to Malmö and finally to Stockholm, the Gleerups roadshow attracted over 650 Swedish teachers of English. Philip Prowse, series editor for Cambridge English Readers, enlightened and entertained the audiences with his inspiring talk on "The Magic of Reading".

Thank you again, Gleerups! We're already looking forward to next year.

"If I told you that there was a magic way for your learners to improve their English enjoyably, and without any work, you might not believe me," says Philip Prowse, million-selling Reader author. Philip is series editor of Cambridge English Readers and author of Help! and Don't Stop Now! from the series.

His talk at the Gleerups roadshows looked at the research and then considered what we actually do with Readers in the classroom. His audience left knowing more about both WHY and HOW to use Readers!
