Let Me Out! Cambridge English Readers win again!
Once again, a Cambridge English Reader wins the Extensive Reading Foundation's Language Learner Literature Award!The ERF LLI awards are conferred each year on books that are selected for their overall quality and likely enduring appeal. Let Me Out! by Antoinette Moses (Starter Level) is the latest winner in the Cambridge English Readers series, pipping five other titles to the post in the Adolescent and Adults, Beginner category.
Antoinette also won the award with Jojo's Story (Level 2) in 2004.
Dead Cold (Level 2), by Sue Leather, won in 2005, while a number of other titles in the series have also been finalists: Staying Together (Level 4) in 2004, A Tangled Web (Level 5) and Tales of the Supernatural (Level 3) in 2005, Within High Fences (Level 2) in 2006 and this year, Strong Medicine (Level 3).
Our readers for very young learners, Cambridge Storybooks, have also been finalists for these awards (Who's Stealing the Fish? in 2005 and The Special Cake and The Slippery Planet in 2006).
