How can I order?

UK Schools and Further Education colleges

Have an existing account
Once your order is received it will be processed and dispatched. If your order contains items that are not yet published or out of stock, these will be delivered to you as soon as they become available.

Forgotten or lost account number
If you have an account with Cambridge University Press, but do not know your account number, you can still place an order online, via your local sales consultant or our customer services team. We will use your school details to find your account number.

Require a new school account
If you do not already have a credit account with us, you need to apply for an account for your school or college.                          

If you attempt to apply for an account when an account already exists for the school or college, you will be prompted. Once the application is approved, orders can be processed and dispatched. If your order contains items that are not yet published or out of stock, these will be delivered to you as soon as they become available.     


Order online

Simply browse the site until you find the item(s) you want to order, and click on the Add to Basket button on the product page. Once you have added all the titles you want, you can order directly from us by submitting an Order Request Form from this site or pay directly via credit or debit card.

Please note you cannot pay via credit or debit card for institution only products, a school account must be set up in order to purchase these products.


Order via telephone or email

Customers can place an order through our dedicated Customer Services team, please use the details below. Our staff are available from Monday-Friday 08.30am-5.00pm (UK time) to take telephone orders.

Order through your local sales consultant

Schools and colleges in the UK can also place an order through their local sales consultant. You can find your local sales consultant by selecting your Local Authority to display the contact details for your local sales consultant.


Individual Customers

Order online

Customers can submit an Order Request Form for the majority of our products online (except digital subscription products which, at present, are only available to institutions). Simply browse the site until you find the item you want to order, and click on the Add to Basket button on the product page. Once you have added all the titles and quantities you require, you can order directly from us by submitting the Order Request Form from the site or purchase directly via credit or debit card. 

Our customer services team will contact you to arrange payment for orders submitted via the Order Request Form ie. schools orders and institution only products.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free of charge to UK schools and further education colleges.

Shipping is handled by Royal Mail or DPD. They both aim to deliver within 7 days following the date of despatch, subject to stock availability.

What if a product has not yet published?

If your order contains items that are not yet published or out of stock, these will be delivered to you as soon as they become available. We will only charge you for the item(s) when we despatch your order.

If your order contains a subscription item that has not yet published, you will receive confirmation of your order immediately via email. You will then receive your login details via email once the product has been published.

You can view the availability by checking the ‘available from’ date for the component on this site.

 

What happens after an order is placed?

After you have completed your purchase, you can print out your order summary or email confirmation if you wish to keep a paper receipt. You will also receive a VAT receipt with your order.

Physical product
Orders for a physical items, including a book or CD-ROM, will usually be despatched within 7 days. You will also receive a printed confirmation of your order with details of what has been delivered.

If your order contains items that are not yet published or out of stock, these will be delivered to you as soon as they are published or become available. We will only charge you for the item(s) when we despatch your order.

Online Subscription product
When you have purchased a subscription product, such as Cambridge Elevate or GCSE Mathematics Online subscriptions, your subscription access details will be sent via email to your selected administrator email address.

If the order for the subscription item(s) has been pre-ordered and is not yet published, you will receive confirmation of your order immediately via email. You will then receive your login details via email once it has been published.
