"An exceptional series": Cambridge Readers shortlisted for awards

LLL Finalist

This month's EL Gazette includes a glowing review of Cambridge English Readers, calling it "an exceptional series" and going on to call the latest publications "such thought-provoking titles...unlike most readers, these address major social and human issues too often ignored by the ELT profession... Murder, politics, drugs, love, war, romance and revenge - they've got the lot".

This is reflected in the judges' comments in the Extensive Reading Foundation's Language Learner Literature Awards, for which we have FIVE more finalistsin 2012! You can vote for your favourite at

www.erfoundation.org/erf/2012Finalists

Voting closes on Saturday 30th June and the winners will be announced at the Independent Learning Association Conference in New Zealand at the end of August.

Cambridge publishes readers for all age groups and they all have audio CDs, online worksheets, teaching tips, competitions and all sorts of other resources to maximise their learning benefit and enjoyment:
