Two Cambridge texts have been selected by leading higher education magazine, Times Higher Education, as among the best academic textbooks for languages and linguistics courses published in the last year.
The 2011 Languages & Linguistics Textbook Guide recommends:
Modern Syntax: A Coursebook by Andrew Carnie
Phonetics: A Coursebook by Rachael Anne-Knight
