Becoming an Archaeologist is Current Archaeology’s Book of the Year

Becoming an Archaeologist
Becoming an Archaeologist A Guide to Professional Pathways has been voted Current Archaeology magazine's Book of the Year at their recent annual conference, Current Archaeology Live!
Joe Flatman's book was chosen from a shortlist of five titles and was voted for by Current Archaeology readers. Current Archaeology called the book a ‘treasure trove of advice' and said it is 'refreshingly honest ... a must-read for any budding archaeologist.'
Flatman commented on the win to Current Archaeology: 'Part of doing good archaeology should be about doing good writing, by which I mean writing that is clear and engaging and that appeals to a wide audience. Current Archaeology consistently achieves those aims itself, and so to be recognised as having met the same high standards in my book is a very great honour indeed.'
