From its modern office in the financial heart of Madrid, our Iberian Branch manages sales to Spain and Portugal, and publishes for the whole Spanish-speaking world.
ELT representatives are based around Spain and in Lisbon, and academic representatives operate out of the Madrid office. A warehouse near Madrid ensures that booksellers anywhere on the peninsula can receive most books in stock within two days of placing an order. Having started purely as an ELT promotional operation, the Iberian Branch has grown to encompass academic and educational marketing, a sales and distribution function and, since 1997, an editorial and publishing role. The publishing activity of the Branch is now focused on producing materials which meet the specific needs of Spanish-speaking learners.
