Celebrating success at the 2018 PROSE Awards

The Association of American Publishers (AAP) recognized Cambridge University Press again this year at the 2018 PROSE Awards, awarding books in six categories and naming a further six as honorable mentions.

The PROSE Awards, taking place annually since 1976, recognize the very best in professional and scholarly publishing by bringing attention to distinguished books, journals, and electronic content in 58 categories. Judged by peer publishers, librarians, and medical professionals, the PROSE Awards are unique in their breadth and depth.

Cambridge publications were winners in six categories, including Art History & Criticism, Computing & Information Sciences, Cosmology & Astronomy, Earth Science, Multivolume Reference/Humanities & Social Sciences, and Single Volume Reference/Humanities & Social Sciences. Honorable mentions were awarded in the categories of Chemistry & Physics, Engineering & Technology, European & World History, Law & Legal Studies, Earth Science, and Theology & Religious Studies.
