Review copy policy

Review copy requests (UK and Europe only)

We provide free review copies of our books for review or comment in specialist journals or the national media.

If you require a gratis copy for adoption as a textbook/course material, please check the Inspection copy section of our website: http://www.cambridge.org/uk/textbooks/

In the UK and Europe we only supply copies of titles published in the last two years.

The following conditions apply:

• Review copies are sent out only at the request of the publication in question. We are unable to accept requests from individuals or freelance reviewers. Requests should be made by the editor or review editor of the journal (or equivalent).
• From the UK office, we send review copies to addresses in the UK and Europe only.
• If this is the first time you have approached us regarding review copies, please submit together with your request a sample copy of the journal and/or the internet address plus a description of its aims and readership.
• Where both hardback and paperback versions are available, only the paperback will be sent for review purposes.
• We reserve the right to impose a limit on the number of copies sent.
• Please send us a copy of the review or article once it is published. We accept reviews in electronic and/or paper format.
