The Book of Common Prayer is not only used daily for public worship and private prayer but, by its liturgical excellence, holds a special place in the evolution of English language and literature. Cambridge has launched a new setting of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It uses a modern digital typeface, giving a clear printing image and greater readability. Its format and page layout follow Cambridge's earlier setting page for page. Read about the new setting in an article from the Prayer Book Society Journal, Advent 2004. Editions
