    Reviews & endorsements

"This highly readable introduction is extremely valuable. I’m delighted William Webb has taken on this task. William is well known for his ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner and as lead designer of the Weightless standard is ideally placed to write the definitive guide. This book is essential reading for anyone who is interested in machine communications and the Weightless standard. I thoroughly commend it." - Tim Whitley, Managing Director, Research and Technology, BT Innovate & Design

"The telecoms industry has been successful in connecting most of the people in the world. Now it is time to connect many of the "things" in the world. The Internet of Things is an important enabler to a better world, Weightless is likely to be a key component of this, and Professor Webb's book is an excellent introduction to the technology and more widely the applications and business cases. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to get involved in this exciting area." - Warren East, CEO of ARM
