Herbert A. Simon

Herbert Simon is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished living economists. He has conducted path-breaking research in both microeconomics and macroeconomics, and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1978 for his work at the intersection of economics and psychology. In addition he is a best-selling author of numerous books and articles. In his Mattioli Lectures, Professor Simon traces the evolution of microeconomics and assesses the possibilities for its future development.
