Passages is a two-level, multi-skills course that takes students of English from the high-intermediate to the advanced level.
Passages continues the popular Interchange approach to listening and speaking by offering a communicative methodology that focuses on both fluency and accuracy. It provides more opportunities to develop reading and writing abilities, as well as more challenging content to develop students' higher-level thinking skills. Passages uses a systematic presentation of grammar, interactive vocabulary-building activities, and engaging, authentic readings and recordings. Each full-color Student's Book contains 12 units divided into two four-page lessons, with a review after every three units. Each level provides between 60 and 90 hours of class instruction.
