Dear valued customer,
As you may know, the CLMS experienced some performance issues over recent weeks. We wanted to let you know how sorry we are if you have experienced these. We apologise sincerely if they have made it difficult for you to access your learning materials or to perform any administrative tasks on the system.
As soon as we became aware of the issues, we worked 24/7 to identify the underlying causes and fix all problem areas as fast as possible.
We can assure you that the CLMS is now working normally.
One factor we have now reviewed is the size of classes. We found that very large classes had a negative impact on the performance of the CLMS so we are recommending that classes of no more than 100 students are created. To stabilise the platform, we were forced to remove large classes. If you had a class in this category, you should have been notified separately to discuss alternatives. If you have not been notified, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss options for managing your large class or classes in the future.
Once again, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience you and your learners may have encountered and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing Cambridge University Press as your learning partner. We value our relationship with you and are fully committed to offering you a high-quality service in the future.
If you would like to speak to us further about this, please contact us at email@example.com.
Thank you for your feedback which will help us improve our service.
If you requested a response, we will make sure to get back to you shortly.×
