Advanced Search also lets you search for more than one type of item at a time
— you can look for all the verbs (1) that are general academic words (2)
Students can listen to a recorded pronunciation of every word in the dictionary by clicking on the blue speaker icon (1). Then they can make their own recording of the word for comparison (2).
Click on the SMART Thesaurus button in any entry to open the thesaurus window. You can then browse all the words related to the word with which you began.
