You will also find a key to Sound Symbols and a List of Likely Errors. The key lists the symbols used in the Pronunciation Pairs Student's Book and compares them with the symbols in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The List of Likely Errors shows common errors that speakers of certain languages are likely to make when speaking English.
