Careers at the PressCambridge University Press is the printing and publishing house of The University of Cambridge. The Press is a non-profit institution designed to promote the advancement of learning through publication of academic and educational books and journals. The American Branch of Cambridge University Press is an equal opportunity, at-will employer. Founded in April 1949, it is an integral part of the Press and is not a separate publishing house. It serves North and South America. The American Branch employs a staff of over 285, and generates about a third of the Press's worldwide income. The head office of the American Branch is in New York City, and the distribution center is in West Nyack in suburban New York.
