Cambridge University Press seeks an Editorial Assistant for its ELT Adult Courses group in New York. The Adult Courses group publishes a range of innovative materials in print, video, and digital media for learners of English at colleges, universities and language schools worldwide. Responsibilities include administrative duties (processing invoices and contracts, arranging meetings and travel, taking minutes); publishing support (managing reviews, maintaining electronic records, generating reports, tracking permissions); and editorial support (checking proofs and art, testing digital material, copyediting, etc.).

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and general office experience or internships, preferably in publishing. A background in English language or linguistics, including TESOL or other teaching experience, is desirable, as is experience with multimedia content. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and should possess strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and team spirit.
