I am responsible for the history and area studies books programme at Cambridge University Press and commission across a broad spectrum of history books including scholarly monographs, academic trade, textbooks, coursebooks, and reference. My particular areas of interest are economic and business history, imperial and colonial history, military history and the history of war and society, global and transnational history and the history of human rights.
My authors and series editors include leading figures in these fields such as Jay Winter, Sir Hew Strachan, Catherine Hall, Sam Moyn, Merry Wiesner-Hanks, John Darwin, Dagmar Herzog, Robert Allen, Kathleen Wilson, Sir Tony Wrigley, Geoffrey Jones, Ken Pomeranz, and Williamson Murray.
I am interested in books that cross disciplinary and national borders, and welcome book proposals from prospective authors in the above areas.
