This Bible will be a delight to look at, to handle—and to read. The text is the popular New International Version, printed in one column right across the page—so it reads like a regular book. There are footnotes to explain translation points and the text is a comfortable size, equally useful for public reading or quiet times. Produced to the high standards for which Cambridge is renowned, this Bible is printed on thin but opaque paper, finished with brilliant gilt edges that protect the delicate pages and give the book a touch of class. There are colorful head- and tail-bands, and a ribbon marker to keep the reader's place. This lovely Bible is bound in tan imitation leather, with a two-tone effect reminiscent of the distinctive pattern of ostrich leather bindings. This particular Bible is not for sale in the EU.
