Contemporary European History covers the history of Eastern and Western Europe, including the United Kingdom, from 1918 to the present. By combining a wide geographical compass with a relatively short time span, the journal achieves both range and depth in its coverage. It is open to all forms of historical inquiry - including cultural, economic, international, political and social approaches - and welcomes comparative analysis. One issue per year explores a broad theme under the guidance of a guest editor. The journal regularly features contributions from scholars outside the Anglophone community and acts as a channel of communication between European historians throughout the continent and beyond it.

Published twice a year in spring and autumn, its remit is to facilitate the publication of high-quality research and discussion in all aspects of Byzantine and Modern Greek scholarship, whether historical, literary or social-anthropological. The journal welcomes research, criticism, contributions on theory and method in the form of articles, critical studies and short notes.

British Catholic History

NEW to Cambridge in 2015 British Catholic History (formerly titled Recusant History) acts as a forum for the most innovative, vibrant, transnational, inter-disciplinary scholarship resulting from research on the history of British and Irish Catholicism at home and throughout the world. We publish peer-reviewed original research articles, review articles and shorter reviews of works on all aspects of British Catholic history from the 15th Century up to the present day. Central to our publishing policy is an emphasis on the multi-faceted, national and international dimensions of British Catholic history. The journal welcomes contributions on all approaches to the Catholic experience including the intellectual, political, material, cultural, theological, literary, sociological, philosophical, economic, gendered, artistic, musical, educational and polemical.
