Byzantine Spring Symposium 2021
Welcome
Hello and welcome! We hope that you and families are keeping well in the era of social distancing. In light of COVID-19 we've decided to take our exhibit stands online. It’s not like being at the event in person, but we hope it offers at least some semblance of normality during this challenging time. Below you will find a list of the books we would have had on display, as well as information on who to contact if you are interested in publishing with us. We've also increased our online discount so that being at home doesn't mean you have to miss out on conference prices, if you're in the market for a good book that is. If not, then perhaps just close your eyes for a moment and pretend you’re in the exhibit hall, about to head off to the wine reception or grab a coffee….
And now that you've got yourself that all important drink, how about a quick word from one of our editors:

Message from Michael Sharp
While I am pleased that this year’s Spring Symposium can take place online, I am very sorry that once again I am unable to run a physical book display and meet you all in person. But our publishing in Byzantine studies continues apace and I hope you will enjoy browsing our list of recent and forthcoming titles. This year we shall publish the first volume, edited by Foteini Spingou, in a new reference series of primary texts for the study of Byzantine art, and we shall also launch the new Cambridge Elements series on Constantinople under series editor Peter Frankopan.
Message from Jamie Mclntyre
Dr Jamie McIntyre (Senior Commissioning Editor, Humanities and Social Sciences Journals, Cambridge University Press, UK) joined the Press in 2010 after a spell as a postdoctoral researcher in classics. He’s responsible for journals across the HSS list and leads on the classics and archaeology titles.
Journals
If journals are more your thing, then here are a few that we think might be of particular interest.
