Shakespeare prize draw - Terms and Conditions


  • The deadline for daily entry is 24:00 (GMT) of the day displayed, late entries will not be entered into the prize draw, but data still may be used.
  • Incomplete entry forms will be deemed invalid.
  • Only one entry per person each day over the twenty three days.
  • The winner and runners-up will be selected at random by Cambridge University Press.
  • By entering, the entrant agrees that we will publish the winners first name, surname, town and country.
  • The prize winners will be notified via email no later than 2 weeks after the entry deadline.
  • If there is no response from the winner, within 2 weeks from the date of the winning email notification, the win will be deemed void.
  • There shall be no cash substitute or alternative prize offered.
  • The prize is non-transferable and subject to availability.
  • No purchase is necessary.
  • Employees of Cambridge University Press and associated companies will not be eligible to participate.
  • By entering the prize draw you are opting in to receive monthly Cambridge Alerts and permitting Cambridge University Press to send you emails from time to time with details of other Cambridge products and services that may of interest.
  • By entering the prize draw you are permitting Cambridge University Press to transfer your personal details to other Cambridge University Press branches throughout the world, namely Europe, America, Australia and Asia.  You should be aware that some branches of Cambridge University Press are in countries which do not have data protection laws.
  • Any discount offered as part of the prize draw is valid for orders made via the website. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and is not available to trade customers.
  • Book sets are excluded from the choice of book prizes
  • By entering the prize draw you are permitting other Cambridge University Press branches to contact you from time to time with details of other Cambridge products and services that may be of interest to. However Cambridge University Press will only share your data internally with another branches.
  • Cambridge University Press will not sell your personal information to others or release it to others without your prior consent, and will only use your personal data as outlined in our privacy policy (see: http://www.cambridge.org/policy/privacy/).
  • Cambridge University Press accepts no liability towards the prizes.  They are supplied “as is” with no express guarantee as to their suitability.  Any faults or queries with the prizes should be directed to the manufacturer.
  • Entry into this prize draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
