Cambridge Molecular Imaging Series
Due to the explosion of knowledge in the field of molecular imaging, there is an urgent need for a continuously published series of review volumes. The literature presents huge amounts of new information scattered in many different journals, with no comprehensive resource for the researcher and clinician. The volumes will cover a wide scope of research: preclinical studies, clinical research, and clinical trials. There will be multi-modality emphasis throughout the volumes, with no bias toward one technology. Some volumes will be devoted to research technologies and others to disease-based applications of the technologies. A unique feature of individual volumes will be an integration of methodologies and research findings. The series editors will choose topics in emerging areas of interest where a sound body of evidence has been published. The books will be concise, and based on principles and general approaches, rather than encyclopedic detail.
