  • The World Shakespeare Bibliography is a fully searchable database providing annotated entries for all important books, articles, book reviews, dissertations, theatrical productions, reviews of productions, audiovisual materials, electronic media, and other scholarly and popular materials related to Shakespeare. This CD-ROM contains over 50,000 separate records of material published or produced in the years 1980–1996. The scope is international, with coverage extending to seventy-five languages and representing every country in North America, South America, and Europe, and most countries in Asia, Africa, and Australasia. Each entry searchable by author, title, subject, keyword, date, medium, language, publisher and periodical title. Users can make Boolean and proximity searches, and may click on names, terms, concepts and titles to bring related works to the screen. Customers who purchased the 1998 disk as part of the registration scheme will be entitled to this update for free.
