About the Authors
  • This classic textbook is the first of two complementary volumes. Dealing with elementary dynamics, it was written for those proposing to take, and those preparing for, their first examination in an Honours Course in Mathematics at a university. Besides examples for readers to solve, the book has in it a number of worked examples varying from simple illustrations of the theory to more advanced work. Some knowledge of elementary dynamics on the part of the reader has been assumed.
