This Bible will delight not only its first owners, but their descendants too – as it contains a 24-page family history section. There is space to record the significant dates and places of up to four generations of ancestors, and extra pages for descendants. Further pages provide space for other important family events. The Bible text is the popular New International Version, printed right across the page, with no columns – so it reads just like an ordinary book. There are footnotes to explain translation points and a useful Table of Weights and Measures. The text is a comfortable reading size, equally useful for public reading or personal devotions. It is printed on Bible paper, finished with brilliant art-gilt edges that give protection to the delicate pages as well as a luxurious look to the Bible. Red and yellow head and tailbands provide a touch of traditional style. This lovely NIV Bible is bound in black goatskin leather, the most durable as well as the most traditional material for bookbinding. This particular Bible is not for sale in the EU.
