About the webinar

Well-structured collaboration in class, especially project work, is an ideal way for teachers to help their teenage students develop a range of life competencies. In this webinar we’ll look at the benefits of collaborative projects, the best ways to set them up and run them, and how to avoid the problems that might arise when doing them. We’ll also look at a number of examples of projects that you can use with your own students.

About the speaker

Daniel has taught English for over fifteen years in the UK, Japan and Spain, and has experience in materials and course development. In Japan he worked with the NGO Peace Boat, where he set up and developed the GET (Global English Programme) for their cultural exchange voyages. He recently completed a Master’s in Endangered Language Description and Documentation at SOAS, London, and has an interest in language revitalisation as well as language pedagogy more broadly. He currently works as a teacher and coordinator for the British Council in Madrid, and authoring a new teens course for Cambridge University Press.
