NOTES:
ALTERNATIVE FUNDING
Each year, the Society for Political Methodology receives NSF funding to assist "women, under-represented minorities, and Assistant Professors of otherwise limited alternative funding in attending the meeting." If you would like to be considered for such funding, it is necessary for you to respond to the demographic questions above.
GRADUATE STUDENTS
All graduate student attendees must have their application supported with a letter of recommendation. A selection of graduate student attendees will present a research paper in a poster session, although all who propose to attend must submit a poster application. Competition to attend the conference is tight, and many applicants are not accepted.
If you do not have a poster proposal and a submitted letter of recommendation when applications close on April 10th, your application will not be considered.
When you submit this form, your recommender will be emailed with your application information including your email address and invited to submit their letter of recommendation. Applicants are encouraged to contact recommenders in advance of submitting their names. Your application will not be considered without a letter of recommendation. Once the recommendation is received we will send you an email to confirm that the application process is completed.
COAUTHORS
Each coauthor of a paper or poster must apply separately to attend. Coauthors who do not apply before the deadline will not be considered for attendance. If your coauthors want to attend but have not yet applied, you may want to encourage them to apply.
