Award-winning ebooks from Cambridge University Press

World Fantasy Award presented for Children’s Fantasy Literature: an Introduction

Cambridge University Press publishes more than 1,500 new and highly regarded titles a year, and the quality of this publishing is reflected by the number of awards that Cambridge titles are nominated for and receive, across multiple subject areas.

Since 2012, books published by Cambridge University Press have won more than 440 major awards.  These include notable annual successes in the PROSE Awards and Choice Outstanding Academic Titles, as well as in a range of subject-specific awards, from the British Medical Association to the World Fantasy Convention.   We are also proud to have published more than 100 books by more than 60 Nobel Prize Laureates, including Albert Einstein, Steven Weinberg, Douglass C North and Angus Deaton, to name just a few.

Of these 440 award-winning titles, more than 330 are available as ebooks for institutional purchase.  These titles are now available as a convenient ebook collection, as well as in smaller subject and single-award collections, and on a pick-and-choose basis.  You can see some of the recent winners and historic highlights below.


Choice Outstanding Academic Titles

In the most recent 2017 Choice awards, 30 Press titles were selected as Outstanding Academic Titles, including:

PROSE Awards

Cambridge University Press has recorded another successful year at the PROSE awards, winning in 6 categories and receiving a further 6 honourable mentions, including:

Previous winners of subject categories include Computer Age Statistical Inference  and The Cambridge World History.


British Medical Association Book Awards

It was yet another year of winning for Cambridge University Press at the 2017 British Medical Association Book Awards.

Returning to Work in Anaesthesia scooped the First Prize in Anaesthesia. The judges called it “A succinct, engaging reference” and stated that “In my opinion this book fills a gap in the market…I would wholeheartedly recommend this text.”

Modern Soft Tissue Pathology took home the First Prize in Pathology. An excellent judge’s review described this book as “well-rounded”, “easy to read and understand” and “exceptionally helpful”.
