On May 1st 2014, we radically changed the pricing model for Cambridge ebooks<\/a> available to institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The changes have created a simpler pricing structure, making it easier for institutional customers to buy Cambridge ebooks.<\/p>\n

Under the new model, nearly all 24,000 available titles are divided into four categories, with just one set price per category. The categories are Books for Research<\/em>, Coursebooks<\/em>, Cambridge Library Collection<\/em> and Textbooks<\/em>.<\/p>\n

New pricing per title<\/strong>
\nCambridge Library Collection<\/em>: \u00a350GBP, $80USD, \u20ac60Euro, $85AUD
\nBooks for Research<\/em>: \u00a380GBP, $125USD, \u20ac95Euro, $135AUD
\nCoursebooks<\/em>: \u00a3125GBP, $195USD, \u20ac150Euro, $210AUD
\nTextbooks<\/em>: \u00a3300GBP, $500USD, \u20ac360Euro, $550AUD<\/p>\n

No FTE multipliers<\/strong>
\nFTE bands and multipliers will no longer apply, so creating a simple underlying price structure for all titles.<\/p>\n

No limited concurrency titles<\/strong>
\nAll titles available direct from Cambridge from 1st May 2014 will have unlimited concurrency access.<\/p>\n

We hope our customers will agree that the new pricing structure is easy to understand and will enable rapid price calculation and collection building.<\/p>\n

We also anticipate that the new pricing structure will assist us in integrating seamlessly with library purchasing systems and also better support EBA<\/a> models and advanced ordering, for which we are developing automated systems.<\/p>\n
