Summary
Identification of the substance/preparation
Identification of the substance or preparation.
Potential usage of the materials/products. Character or the recommended usage of the substance/preparation should be given. This point also may contain ashort description indicating particular usage.
The name of the legal person/institution/company responsible for placing the substance or preparation on the market within the European Community has to be given. Full address and telephone number of the manufacturer, importer or distributor should be provided.
An emergency telephone number of the company and/or appropriate official advisory body responsible for providing information on possible harmfulness of the substance/preparation to human health must be given.
Composition/information on ingredients
The information given should allow the person making use of it to readily determine the degree of the hazard resulting from the contact and usage of the separate components of the preparation. The names and numbers of the indicated substances should be given in accordance with the EINECS (European INventory of Existing Commercial Substances) catalogue or alternatively as the IUPAC names (if available) and CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service) numbers. The substance classification with its hazard symbols and R-phrases indicating the nature of the risks should also be provided.
Hazard identification
The potential risks for humans and the environment that may result from the usage of the substances and preparations should be clearly and concisely indicated.
