A note on the effect of scrotal wool cover on morphological changes in ram spermatozoa due to heat stress

  • Ashok K. Rathore (a1)
Summary

Variation in scrotal wool cover influenced the percentage of abnormal cells in the semen of rams exposed in the hot room. The percentage of abnormal cells was highest in the rams with maximum wool cover on their scrota, intermediate in those with scrota completely devoid of wool cover and minimum in those with intermediate (2 to 3 cm) scrotal wool cover.
