As Epidemiology & Infection approaches its 125th anniversary in 2026, we are inviting blog post contributions from researchers, practitioners, and public health professionals working in infectious disease epidemiology and related fields.
We would particularly love to hear from authors who have chosen to publish in the journal - whether to reflect on their research, share insights into their work, or comment on developments in the field.
We are looking for short, accessible posts (approx. 500–800 words) that might include:
- Highlights of recently published work in Epidemiology & Infection
- Reflections on the evolution of the field and the journal’s role in it
- Experiences from public health practice, policy, or field research
- Commentary on current or emerging issues in infectious disease epidemiology
- Personal stories from authors about their research journey or connection to the journal
We welcome contributions from across disciplines and career stages. This is a great opportunity to share your perspective with a wider audience and to be part of the journal’s anniversary year celebrations.
If you're interested in contributing, please provide your written post here. Please reach out to izabella.aron@cambridge.org if you have any questions.
We look forward to hearing from you!
