The EPSR will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. From its inception, the journal has consolidated its position as a top reference for European and, indeed, global political science. We enter 2018 with the highest impact factor ever and with record figures in terms of submissions. This success owes much to the work of founding editors Guy B. Peters and Donatella della Porta, as well as continuing editor Wil Hout.

This year, the journal inaugurates a new international board in which shows balance across political science subdisciplines, theoretical approaches, and methodological traditions. More importantly, the board reflects gender parity as a signal of the commitment of the editors, publisher, and ECPR. These additions will contribute to the success of the journal and its appeal for a broader readership.
