The Early Issues of the First Newspaper in Hausa Gaskiya ta fi Kwabo, 1939–1945

  • John Edward Philips
Abstract

The first years of Gaskiya ta fi Kwabo, the oldest Hausa newspaper, have recently been made available online for research. They provide a sometimes idiosyncratic perspective on the Second World War.
