The Variations of the Hα line of HD199178

  • Lauri Jetsu (a1), Igor Savanov (a2) and Ilkka Tuominen (a1)
Abstract

Changes of emission cause variations of the Hα absorption line of HD 199178. The correlation with the simultaneous light curve may depend on the relative strength of the axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric components of the evolving spot configurations.
