The density of elasmobranchs

  • Q. Bone (a1) and B. L. Roberts (a1)
Abstract

The density of 18 species, measured by weighing them in sea water and in air, was found to vary widely. The weights of these fish in sea water ranged from about 7 % to less than 1 % of their air weights.
