Abstract

An evaluation of a broad set of HLWg lass corrosion data implies that adequate corrosion models must also take into account kinetics slower than √t. Solubility limits may not give a sufficient explanation for these cases. Before all, the long term leach rates are not infinitely small. A proposal is made how “slow” kinetics can be included in a model.
