Abstract

Two new compounds in the Ba-Y/Ca-Cu-O systems have been grown as single crystals from a Ba(OH)2H2O flux. The compounds Ba3(Y/Ca, Cu)2O7−δ and Ba(Ca, Cu)O3−δ have the Sr3Ti2O7 and the perovskite structure, respectively.
